AboutSanta Clara University's Sports Business is a completely student-run organization which provides students with resources and opportunities to enhance and build a career in the sports industry. This organization explores the intersection of business fundamentals with the entertainment and awe found in athletics.
Our coordinated efforts with distinguished guest speakers, alumni, and professionals help students gain a better understanding of the duties and responsibilities of a career in the sports marketing, sports management, sports finance, ticket sales, operations, and sports journalism fields. |
Our GoalWe aim to capitalize on opportunities and make SCU Sports Business a worthwhile resource for our members. Whether that is gaining connections, improving your resume, or finding an internship, we want you to gain something from our events. We aim to continue this through guest speakers, workshops, networking events, and other activities to improve your ability to succeed in the Sports Business world.

Black Lives Matter #BLM
SCU Sports Business wants to voice their solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement.
Racial inequality and injustice exists in this nation and we have to do better to educate ourselves and help to rid the United States of racism. We look towards the many Black men and women in the sports industry as our leaders and role models for a better future.
Here are some ways you can help: Sign this petition that calls for national action against police brutality or this petition which advocates for the "Hands Up Act". Also consider supporting locally and donating to Black Earth Farms Food Delivery Fund. Donations go towards helping and feeding those who have been arrested or injured in the Oakland uprisings.
You can also donate to Act Blue Bail, Mutual Aid, and Racial Justice Organization Funds. These donations can be used to help specific places in your community or national bail funds for those wrongly imprisoned. Consider helping out those in need.
